DEMIUR takes shape in Monferrato, Piedmont. The territory lives in the project through its artisanal skills, personal relationships and a sensitivity to materials and colour.
The stone, pale earth, greens and burnt tones of the landscape translate into nuanced palettes and textured surfaces: a local origin expressed in a contemporary, international language.
The Moncalvo atelier.
Set in a 17th-century historic palazzo in Moncalvo, Italy’s smallest city, the DEMIUR atelier is where research and product meet. Yarns, colour tests and samples accompany the development of each collection, from the first intervention on the material to the final definition of the garment.
Here, traditional techniques and local expertise evolve through a new vision of design.
ICONS
Cashmere, alpaca, silk, wool and bouclé are blended and treated as living matter. Through innovative, natural carding techniques, often inspired by traditional methods, yarns are gently opened, transformed and reimagined.
